Can you explain the following http access log entries? These lines occur
on every successful cas auth. I'm not sure why there appears to be
multiple/duplicate server hits.

All it most likely means is that you're asking for new tickets.  The
issue is why the client is asking for new tickets.  Check your client
logs for ticket validation failures and subsequent redirects.

You can also turn logging on for the server and it should tell you if
ticket validation failed.

entries clearly show that during a one second interval that 7 new
tickets were created and then a subsequent redirect (http 302).  

 

Not sure what this means.
