So it looks like that dir name is a red herring--the file is where it should
be under the project dir.  But that doesn't change the fact that:
1) this error happens from a fresh directory--i.e. no pre-existing files
2) it makes that file and then complains about it existing
3) it's in a part of the SgGenerateCores.pm script that seems to be looking
for cached results to copy around for cores, so it seems like the file
existing should be an error.

Any ideas?
