Hi Kris,

Interesting proposition.  What you would likely end up with is a board with an
FPGA on it - could be a V5 or a Spartan6 (not the lowest speed grade).  Then you
can split the LVDS into two 16 bit unidirectional interfaces and run them at
625MHz to get you 10G.  The ROACH LVDS pins would allow this.

That only buys you one extra 10G port per ZDOK though.

This is not something that our group has planned - we are going to wait for
ROACH2...
