Hi All.

ROACH-2 development and testing has gone well over the last two months. At
this point we have tested the two prototype boards and are happy that
everything works. While there were a number of minor issues, we were able to
get everything functioning with a few blue wires and a steady hand. The only
item untested is the DRAM, for which I blame Xilinx's trigger happy memory
interface group. Work will now start on fixing the various issues.

Have a look at the wiki page for all the latest details and pics:

There is a particularly nice image of the board with two CX4 mezzanine cards
attached (and working!):

For those who are particularly interested, we are planning to have a telecon
next week Wednesday to discuss the hardware fixes, changes and the way
forward. This will happen at the regular ROACH telecon time. I'll post these
details a little later.

Kind regards,
David
