Hello, I am trying to get an iserdes put in the adc path of a Roach board. I have written separate VHDL code which instantiates it and using ISE 11.5 it synthesizes and routes fine, and meets my timing requirements. Made a yellow box , tagged it as adc_iserdes, created a mask file and a mpd file. Also, created a @xps_adc_iserdes in the xps_library which has the xps_adc_iserdes.m file in it.
I am now getting an error ............. ERROR:EDK - IPNAME: adc_iserdes, INSTANCE: adc_iserdes_test2_adc_kims - c:\work\asiaa\mlib_devel\projects\adc_iserdes_test2\XPS_ROACH_base\system.mhs line 201 - cannot find MPD for the pcore 'adc_iserdes_v1_00_a' in any of the repositories. My question is....Where is the mpd file suppose to go , and is there anything else I need pointing to it? I put it in xps_lib/XPS_ROACH_base/data (plus tried a few other places which didn't change anything.) Any comments would be appreciated. Kim
