Hello all, I'm working on a simple design to stream frequency channels to disk over 10GbE, and it seems like something many people would have already done so I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction.
Right now I'm using an mcode block to create a state machine that writes some metadata including a master counter and info about frequency channel and antenna numbering at the beginning of each 10GbE packet, then cycles through each of 16 antennas strobing in several frequency channels per antenna during each pass, sends off the packet after a couple passes through the 16 antennas, and begins again. Can anyone point me toward an existing design that does something similar? A lot of work has been done by CASPERites to create the corr package that now transmits natively over 10GbE with SPEAD protocol, but that seems like overkill for what I'm doing here. Does anyone have insight on what is the best approach? Thanks, Jonathan Landon
