Hi all,

Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere but I couldn't find this addressed
in the mail archive nor wiki..

This is a more wide-ranging version of the question Jonathan
asked a year ago...
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01919.html

Prompted by various issues with our observatory and campus HVAC systems
I thought I'd ask the community at large :
1) What are the recommended ambient temperatures, atmospheric pressures, ...
you are supplying to your CASPER hardware ?

2) what are the ambient temperatures, atmospheric pressures, ...
you are supplying to your CASPER hardware ?

3) What additional system integration design upgrades are being implemented
to upgrade the default CASPER hardware for harsher than standard
   conditions ?

4) Is your research and development lab configured the same as the
final site (campus lab versus remote observatory) ?

5) How long do you plan for/need/want your systems to run without
   requiring replacement or repair ?

6) What is your schedule for testing and replace seized FPGA or chassis
fans, power supplies or other "support" hardware ?

7) Anything else on this topic I should be thinking about ?

Thank you,
Matt
