Thanks Bruno (and everyone)

I have gotten hooked up with Rick and am chasing this down off the list.

Subject: Re: [casper] DACs? DAC2x1000-16?

Hi Billy,

Rick Raffanti at Berkeley is producing the DAC2x1000-16 boards so you
might want to talk to him

directly for cost/delivery time (cc in this email). There are yellow
blocks (dac_mkid and dac_mkid_4x) in the casper git (up-to-date in bwrc
fork).

We still need to add information about the yellow block in the CASPER
wiki. We'll try to do that soon. Let me know if you want specific
informations

about performance and/or usage.

Thanks,

Bruno Serfass

Hi All,

Am planning a ROACH buy for an educational lab, and need to lay my hands
on some DACs (am pricing for four stations right now). I think the old
DAC style from the ATA is no longer made, and stumbled on the
DAC2x1000-16 (2009) on the wiki. Is this unit in production? Is there
a yellow block? Are there any other DACs out there as alternatives? I
didn't see a whole lot on the wiki.

Thanks,

Billy Barott
