You can run multiple versions of Matlab and Xilinx tools on the same machine. And I highly recommend you do that because ISE13 deprecated some of the bus infrastructure that we use. So I'm not expecting ISE14 to work without a lot of headaches (if at all). If you really want to try 14.x, you can start by trying to copy the OPB cores across from an 11.x install...
