Hi,

I understand that a 1.5 GHz square-wave clock is fed to the KatADC board.
There is a Pulse Engineering CX2156 1:1 transformer between the clock-in
port and the clock pins of the ADC. What is the need for the transformer ?

My guess is that it could have something to do with filtering out any
spurious high frequency noise picked up on the board ?

Also, I see that transformer used on the data lines too..
