Can anyone clarify the use of jumpers/shunts for getting a ROACH2 rev2 to power
on automatically when A/C power is applied? JP2 in the schematic has the
comment "Bridge to enable main power on initial power-up", but that doesn't
seem to behave in the way I want (doesn't power on when A/C power is applied).
Bridging JP1 (with comment "PWR_OVERRIDE") does power up when A/C power is
applied, but it stays powered up even after a "halt -p".

Is JP1 the only option to make network controlled power strips useful?

Is remote power down only possible via a network controlled power strip?

Thanks,
Dave

P.S. I kind of miss the XPort and roach_monitor.py! :-)
