After failing to make any money of any significance on my IRA radio
astronomy software over the years, I've decided to open-source it:
https://github.com/patchvonbraun/IRA.git
It currently only knows how to talk to USRP hardware, but one of the
tasks a keener could do would be to arrange for other input sources,
such as stuff that CASPER works on, RTLSDR, etc.
I suppose that trying to sell very-niche software into a market
consisting of some of the nerdliest science types on the planet was such a
stunningly-brilliant business plan. I'm glad that I have a day job
as well :)
