Hi Alex, Here at SKA-SA we have found that the most stable Ubuntu setup is with Ubuntu 12.04, Xilinx 14.3 and Matlab 2012b.
Ubuntu 13.04 has been tried and we encountered issues with updating designs. Although not much time has been spent trying to resolve these. Please let us know your results.
