Hi Rolando I’m on a Windows system but I think the Xilinx License Manger should be similar.
From your screen shots I see you don’t have a line item called SysGen installed. To my knowledge, this is what you need to create the *.bit file which will create the file needed for the ROACH board. I think this is what the line: WARNING:Security:9b - No 'SysGen' feature version 2013.10 was available for part 'xc5vsx95t' Is referring to. You need to make sure the System Generator installed then get the license for it. One thing to point out when you generate the license file, make sure it’s referencing the correct computer. The licence manager does not automatically pick up the node of your current machine but all previous machines that you’ve ever created a licence for. IE – if I try generate a license I will see nodes for Louise-Win7 and Louise-Win10 computers but the Win7 is my old machine that I no longer use. I can create licences for Win7 but they will not work as they are referencing a difference a different machine. It could be that your trial license is not valid for the SysGen_TDP or for the Virtex 5 device, itself. I am assuming that you have opened the Xilinx license manager and have added the license file? You should see a list of tools supported with this trial license when you add the license? If you have added the license then the issue is that the license does not support SysGen_TDP, the device or both and you will need a standard license. Xilinx docs should explain what device and features are supported with the trial license.
