Hi all, I hope you are all keeping well in these difficult times.
It will probably come as little surprise to you all that the Advisory Board and Organizing Committee of the upcoming 2020 workshop in Sardinia *have taken the decision to* *postpone this year's workshop*. Given the uncertainty about travel viability over the coming year, and the likelihood that distancing rules will still be in place, we feel it is appropriate to postpone the workshop until 2021. At this time exact dates have yet to be decided, but our intention is to hold the workshop in September 2021 (i.e., 12 months later than originally planned), aiming to be compatible with the (also postponed) URSI GASS meeting in Rome. I'd like to extend my thanks to Andrea Melis and all our colleagues at INAF both for the efforts they have already put in to organizing the workshop, and for accommodating this unfortunate delay. Stay tuned to the maillist for more announcements in the future. Also, let me take this opportunity to remind everyone that we are still holding ~monthly telecons for CASPER contributors and other interested parties to give updates on their work. These are announced on the dev maillist -- feel free to subscribe by emailing casper-dev+subscr...@lists.berkeley.edu should you want to receive these notices. There is also a CASPER slack organization where various conversing about new boards and software happens -- Drop me an email if you would like an invite!
