Hello CASPERites,

For anyone interested in high-speed offload solutions for RFSoC: I have just
released an open-source design and blog explaining some of the basics of
getting the Ultrascale+ Integrated Ethernet Subsystem (CMAC IP Core)
<https://www.xilinx.com/products/intellectual-property/cmac_usplus.html> up and
running on the ZCU111. The design uses DMA and PYNQ to demonstrate internal and
external 100GbE loopback. The design also uses the Aldec FMC-QSFP High Speed
Links Daughter Card
<https://www.aldec.com/en/products/emulation/daughter_cards/fmc_daughter/fmc_qsfp>
 to convert the ZCU111 FMC+ connector to QSFP to test 100 GbE through the more
modern QSFP connector. You can read all about it here:
https://discuss.pynq.io/t/100-gigabit-ethernet-for-rfsoc-pynq-overlays/3053
<https://discuss.pynq.io/t/100-gigabit-ethernet-for-rfsoc-pynq-overlays/3053>
and build the design for yourself here:
https://github.com/JennySmith888/100GBE-PYNQ
<https://github.com/JennySmith888/100GBE-PYNQ>. The project includes a Python
driver for the CMAC IP which will be integrated into the next PYNQ (v2.7)
release. Enjoy and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Best,
Jenny Smith
