Hi everyone. I need help to understand what is happening in my project. I am trying to use ROACH2 with an adc16x250-8bits to implement a multi-spectral beamforming. To start I create a simple model that just makes the FFT and calculates the amplitude of each channel and the phase with respect to one of them like reference.
When I run the command to start the ADC (./adc16_init.rb --demux 1) the terminal shows %------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Connecting to 192.168.0.116... Programming 192.168.0.116 with riometer_02_2022_Nov_16_1611.bof... Design built for ROACH2 rev2 with 4 ADCs (ZDOK rev2) Gateware supports demux modes (using demux by 1) Resetting ADC, power cycling ADC, and reprogramming FPGA... ZDOK0 clock OK Calibrating SERDES blocks...ABCD ERROR: SERDES calibration failed for ADC A. ERROR: SERDES calibration failed for ADC B. ERROR: SERDES calibration failed for ADC C. ERROR: SERDES calibration failed for ADC D. Selecting analog inputs... Using default digital gain of 1... Done! %---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So my question is what does this error means? and what I can do to fix it ? Because I tried with another code, which is more complex but just uses a register to store the spectral calibration data and beamformer weight, to perform integrate response and works well.
