Hi

The skarabs can be programmed using the progska utility directly, and it
accepts repeated -vvv flags to report more detail. so that partitions the
problem space to exclude python version issues.

progska uses bin file, if you don't have that handy, it can be extracted
from an fpg file by removing everthing up to and including the ?quit. "vim
-b" should work.

I suspect the mtu on your network card isn't set high enough. progska needs
jumbograms.
