I prefer the layout in site.png to the one hosted at unempty, as it's more
cohesive. The one at unempty could probably be improved so that elements
flowed into each other better though, alternatively. I agree regarding the
colors. I'd trust the mockup as a company face, but would consider it less
inviting as a community. Maybe a lighter, warmer color on the sectioned-off
parts like those on the mongodb page Evan links?
For both designs, I'm not sure about justifying such small columns of text.
There are only four or five words on some of the lines.
