There's also Phantom, a new Boo build system, also DSL-based:
http://github.com/JeremySkinner/Phantom

About xbuild, I had problems last time I wanted to use it (2 months
ago, for GitSharp), it was kind of unreliable. In the end I went with
nant. Granted, this was before the 2.6 release and I haven't used it
ever since, it seems to have improved lately.

Abut msbuild 2010 new features, we wouldn't be able to use them until
xbuild caught up with it.

IronRuby + irake is another possibility. Actually Krzysztof asked
about this a couple of months ago (
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1443792/bin-deploy-rake-and-ironruby
), Bracket seems to simplify xcopy deployment of IronRuby.

Cheers,
Mauricio
