I like the emphasis that it puts - after all download and docs are two major reasons people visit the site.
Here's few remarks: - Basically what Jono said - it stands out as compared to the rest of the website. Traditionally violet was the color of Castle, so it would be good to stick with something similar. - With JavaScript blocked all the accordeons are expanded, which does not look so pretty. - I would also put a ( a tad smalled than download) link to 'docs' and 'more' (all the other stuff) along with each project.
