Actually, the new design allows you to have MVC, MR2 or any other mvc framework Side by Side in the same app domain. You just need to create a ControllerProvider/Executor.
I'm not sure about an upgrade path as I dont know how the features will be shaped in the new API form. Honestly I'm not truly concerned about that. I'm way more interested in tackling problems that the mainstream ones haven't. This is 80% intuition led, obviously. More importantly, it's a framework I'm building for me, to help me with the projects I'm about to start. If it happens to help other people, great.
