The problem is that such remarks age faster than the actual docs. Some
user might look only at them every few months and they will benefit
from these remarks. But when do you remove them? After a month? Some
will not see them at all and conclude there are no changes. After half
a year? What's if there's another change within this period. Make yet
another remark?

My advice is to look at the docs when you have a problem, even if you
have read them just yesterday unless you are tracking SVN and know
what changed.
