it's a very good idea indeed.

We don't have resources though to maintain sample projects, especially
that projects like ActiveRecord, MonoRail, or Windsor are broad in
scope, and writing (and maintaining) sample projects covering wide
range of their capabilities is a serious undertaking. We have plans to
build more (and more up to date) sample projects, but that would
require significant community contributions. Would you be interested
in helping in this effort?
