All,
I just responded to Borries Ludwig today regarding the implementation of
self relations in Castor JDO. Here is a quote of my response:

Regarding the implementation of polymorphism, I'm just guessing here so
I could be wrong, but the implementation of polymorphism would probably
depend highly upon the state of org.exolab.castor.persist.ClassMolder
and everything surrounding it. This class is a monster with redundancy
everywhere. It is in bad need of refactoring. Back in April/May Thomas
was considering a major refactoring of this area of Castor JDO. If
you're serious about assisting in the construction of Castor's feature
set, I would recommend that we find out if Thomas is actually moving
forward with this refactor what where it stands.
Again, Thomas, if you're reading this, can you talk about any of this on
the list?
