Think of Castor's TransactionContext as being very similar to a relational
database's transactions. This list is not the appropriate medium for a
tutorial on transactions so I'll just offer a URL that provides a very
good introduction to transactions in J2EE:

OTOH, ClassMolder is used to bind object types based on the relationships
established in the mapping descriptor. Castor uses ClassMolder and
FieldMolder pretty heavily for these operations.
