just wondering if there is any type of validation check that occurs to
check that (non-java) class specified in type="..." attribute exists?
today, i renamed a class and forgot to update the mapping.xml file. when i
ran my unit test, i got a NullPointerException, but no detailed
description. it took some time to hunt down that a non-existant class was
specified in one of the type="..." attributes in the mapping.xml file.
