The recent msgs on winterizing have reminded of something I want to do but
it doesn't seem easy.

The engine manual outlines a procedure for draining the fresh water cooling
system .... in short

Remove pressure cap

Open drain cock located above oil filter   I can't find anything except for
a drain cock on the top of he manifold near the pressure cap.  Opening this
wouldn't drain anything, just let air in.

Open drain cock located below alternator.   Well it may be there but I sure
can't see it and I'm not going to stick my hand back there until I
disconnect the batteries.  Removing the door and frame in the front of the
engine may help access.

Remove 1/8" pipe plug at lower end of the heat exchanger  I can see this,
reaching it is another matter.

Any comments or help would be appreciated
