Hi Steve, I have not measured the jib sheets yet. They look to be original, but do look to be larger then the Catalina specification of 3/8". I agree, the larger the better, I'll measure them the next time out and see.
Another Texas Lake sailer on this list! I lived in Plano for 23 years and did not realize until now that Eagle Mountain Lake was that large, larger then Lake Travis. I moved to Austin just two years ago and purchased my C27 this past June. In the early 90s I had an Oday 222 in Lake Texoma. Nice lake, but hated the one way hour drive from Plano.
