John,

I can only dream of having that much vacation time!

And, yes, sailing is how I would use it.  But probably, coming from Boston, I’d start with a trip to Nova Scotia, then over to Greenland, then to Ireland.  Maybe to the old trade triangle south, then West back to the Caribbean.   Ah, dreams!  How would we get through Winter without them?

So… where, if any of you folks could, would you sail? And for how long?  Brings to mind maybe the best name I’ve ever seen on a boat – Never Land.

A friend sent me this web link.  www.berrilla.com   Its about 2 Aussie's who after the 2004-2005 Sidney Hobart Race, took the long way home.  They left Hobart, sailed east around Cape Horn, to England and sailed the Fastnet race, thence south around Cape Hope and currently are nearing Australia hopefully arriving in time to sail this years Sidney Hobart.

The name of the boat is Berrilla, a 33 footer that I have never heard of, probably built in Australia.

This is absolutely festinating.  If I would do this, I would like to take more time.  But, to each his own.
