catalina27-talk: A-frame for mast

I just found out when trying to use it that my sail club has condemned our gin pole.  I remember the previous discussions on an A-frame for raising and lowering the mast.  I found this description: http://members.aol.com/rhdeurer/mod-r3b.htm on Bob Deurer’s site.   Does anyone else have anything to add to what Bob did?  Any pictures of the A-frame in action?  My marina wants $90 to raise or lower the mast.  I’d certainly like to avoid this fee if I can.   Bob Mann Lake St. Clair, MI
