My 1981 #4855 has the slider.  First sail yesterday from PO's old marina to mine.  Nice outing.  I can tell I am going to love this boat.  Needs a bimini though for hot light air Chesapeake summers and while on the topic of moving boom up and down (in part to accommodate a bimini), I'd like to know what dimensions folks have chosen for their bimini purchase.  How high especially... 36", 42", 54"?  Also, anyone try to attach the bimini frame to cars on the jib tracks like the jib fairlead blocks?  What dimension did you choose for that?  8' or 96" seems too much of a stretch to get to the 102-104" width.  Thanks.  Don
