Michele,

Here’s a link to the factory rigging drawing http://www.catalina27.org/images/c27manualchartrigging.jpg

The best deal cost wise over the last few years has been SECO South in Florida. They prefer (and might insist) you ship them the old rigging so they can make a match.

If you were planning to un-step the mast I’d ask for a quote on all the standing rigging plus one for the lifelines (lifeline degrade too) be fore shopping locally for a couple of wires.

Subject: catalina27-talk: Stay length

Question for all who have a 1975 Catalina 27 standard rig:

What is the length of the forestay and of the backstay?

I need to replace them and it will be cheaper to order them and have a friend help instal rather than pay $800 for the riggers to do it.

Input welcome.

Thank you,

Rossinante
