I usually end up cutting off old hoses - so it's at least common. As to replacement hoses - you need to use re-enforced water hoses. You can get it a WM but you'll find that the same hose sold as heater hose at the auto supply place is cheaper. You want a rigid hose so when it gets warm in the engine compartment it doesn't collapse and shut off the water supply. That's why I use the heater hose. Don't use the clear hose with the pretty red and white reenforment threads.
