Hi Ralph and Bob,
The Speedseal is a beautiful machined unit. However a few weeks ago I posted
the following:
I bought a Speedseal for my Sherwood pump M-18 engine. Speedseal did not have
a model made for the Sherwood pump on the M-18. They made one up for me from
the paper gaskets and drawings that I sent them. The unit came in and was a
close fit and worked, but I felt it was just a little bit off. The cheerfully
refunded my money and stated that if I could get them a sample pump they would
make another unit. I was so impressed with the unit that if someone has an old
Sherwood pump, I would pay for the shipping to me, and I would forward it to
Speedseal and would pay for the shipping of the sample pump back to the
contributor. I know there were a few other sailors on the list last year that
were interested in buying one. Any takers?

the phone connects to a gentleman in England . It is shipped to the U.S. by
British Air..

that holds the water pump to the engine. The cover is fine, even though it
has the brown paper gasket cover.
