For those who may be following this thread and who may be familiar with the vinyl insert rub rail coming out of the track usually due to healing and putting the rub rail under water, you can use Gorilla glue to glue this back and it appears to hold quite well. We tried Gorilla glue for this three years ago under a section on the starboard side that continually popped out of the track. It hasn't popped out since. Only one caution with Gorilla Glue is that it expands to several
times its volume so be careful using it in any kind of restricted space. I have
no doubt it would hold tight.
