You could make one from Starboard or solid wood. I put my grill over the running light. If I need the light, I turn the grill around. The chances if needing the grill and the light on at the same time are slim. WM sells a small brown mount made by Johnson Marine that will work for a small OB like yours. They sell a larger white one for larger motors, but due to the curvature of the rail, you will have to grind out some of the plastic to make it fit.

Greetings listers. I recently acquired a dinghy and a 3.5 outboard mainly
for tooling around the marina but also as a tender on weekend cruises. I
hesitate to tow the dinghy with motor attached and so would like to mount
it during passage on the C27's stern pulpit. The brackets for that purpose
that I have seen at WM and elsewhere for about $25 seem suitable but need
to be installed at a T-joint on the rail. That is not a convenient location
on my boat because of the location of the aft running light to port and my
Magma grill to starboard right at the only two vertical braces. I'm
wondering if anyone has seen an auxiliary motor bracket for the stern rail
that does not need to be attached at a T-joint. The WM catalog has what
appears to be one, but I think it is for heavier motors -- and it costs
over $200! Has anyone seen such a thing at a more reasonable price?
