It is fast, powerful and very, very quiet. The downside is that it is not waterproof. If you sail in foul weather like I do, you'll have to take extra precautions. I had to bring it in for repairs (under warranty) as it got wet inside. When I discussed it with the tech he seemed bewildered that anyone would sail in anything but perfect conditions.
