I also have an '88 model with lines internal to the boom.  I believe I also replaced the outhaul line, but I will have to look back and see what I used, and what information I based that on.  I will get back to you with more once I've done that.

I need to replace the outhaul on my 88 C27.  I am apprehensive about the possibility of removing the old one and not being able to install the new one.  I haven't yet opened up the boom to see how many pulleys are involved in the route or how cluttered things are inside the boom.

Can anyone suggest how to go about doing this?  Also, does anyone have the diameter and length of the outhaul?  I looked on the two pages in the manual online and the best I can come up with is a "adjusting line" (whatever that is)

I also plan to replace the aft reefing line (not critical but while I'm in there, why not).
