Techlin, is that the 71091 bracket? That is the one I have been considering. Tell me, how much "assist" do those springs provide? And how far down the stern did you mount the bracket? My guess would be to position the bracket so when the motor is down it is at approximately the same level as the cut out hole's mount would be. I am wondering if it is worth the $350 (plus shipping).
