Dang! I shudda given you a heads-up, Ray. It would have been good to
visit. It was pretty rocky moored out there Saturday night...winds out of
the east and 2-3-foot waves all night long. We ended up
"sleeping" in the cockpit. Sunday night was great...smooth as
glass and slept like a baby, til I noticed the service light out (see
earlier post). When it was time to go home Monday morning there was
absolutely no wind, so we motored it all the way. I've never seen the bay
so calm. Not even a ripple.You couldn't make out the horizon. Pleasant
weekend, though, all told. Yorktown is a nice destination.
