Congratulation on your 1978 C27! It's going to be a real fun sailboat. I
got my 85 a little over two years ago and have had a blast with it.

One of my first investments was a good ratcheting wire crimper. The
factory did not know how to crimp on wire terminals. I wound up
replacing all Catalina wire harness push on spade terminals at the
switch panel. I could pull off all of the old ones by hand.

The crimper was a little over $60 two years ago, WM now lists it at
$104, and only sold at their Retail Stores.

Wire seldom goes bad, don't fix what is not broken. If the light lights
up, then let the mystery of where the wires are be a mystery.
