Thanks for the warning I was thinking of a BVI trip with Morrings but
if they are that bad I guess not anyone have opinions on Morrings?

Michael,
I have chartered with Moorings in Tortola on several occasions and have
always had an excellent experience, at least as far as Moorings and the boat
were concerned. (Once we had 25 kt winds, higher in gusts, with 6' to 8' seas.
That wasn't much fun but it wasn't Moorings fault.)  We have had nothing but
good service from the people at Moorings.
We have always booked the Moorings 413, a Beneteau 40 monohull with 3
cabins/2 heads.  And, for economy, we always booked from the "Club" list, which
has boats a few years older.  The boats were always clean and in top condition.
Also, we booked our week at the end of April, first of May; the first week
of the lower middle-season prices.  It was warmer then but not bad; and, the
winds (usually) were a little lighter than in winter: 12-15-ish kts., which the
First Mates liked.  The sailing was great nonetheless.
If you go to Tortola, no matter who you charter from, be sure to be in
Trellis Bay on Sunday when "de Loose Mongoose" has its "cookout."  Less
well-know, perhaps, than "The Last Resort,"  it's great fun.
