Oddly enough, we went with AAA. BoatUS is cheap if you have a current survey or
are willing to pay for one (haulout is required)

Hello,

I am currently in the process of shopping for an insurance for my C27
(1978) as National Marine has the bad habit of increasing their premium
by 15% every year!

They intend to charge me $456 for this coming year, $100,000 liability
$500.00 deductible and $4500 for the boat value. Does this seem
resonable knowing I only navigate on the Hudson river and the boat being
wet for only 4-5 months?

Any other insurance company to suggest?

Thanks for the feedback!

Stephan
