I had my mast stepped today. My forestay has some broken strands at the top. Lesson learned on connecting the jib halyard to the sail instead of the furler head! So anyway I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to get the head stay out of the furler. Does anyone know the magic trick to get the forestay out of this thing?
