Dear Friends:

Just a quick update:

They have run several tests and have inspected the heart, trachea, bronchial
tree and lung. Everything but the lung looked good. Heart is functioning,
the trachea and bronchial tree looked healthy and intact. The lung up until
now
looked mostly healed; however, a severe bought of coughing caused a burst in
a part of the lung that had been weakened. Interestingly, tall, thin men are
susceptible to experiencing a pneumothorax. This is something we will have
to monitor. They will take him off the ventilator tomorrow and hope to have
the chest tube out sometime Saturday. Then we talk to Good Sam's and Shock
Trauma about rehab...again.

Adam is awake, alert and says he feel's fine. Pray his mind, body, and
spirit will recover from this setback quickly.

Thank you for your prayers,
Dave and Lisa
