Cynthia will share feedback received from member libraries on implementation of RDA and what next steps will be for OCLC. Initial plans for OCLC member training, revised OCLC documentation, and what to expect in WorldCat bibliographic records with RDA implementat ion by the US national libraries in 2013 will be included. Implementing RDA: One Institution’s Evolving Experience, Two Years Later: 35 minutes Summary: Chris will give some background on how the University of Chicago approached RDA implementation, why they implemented immediately after the formal test, challenges they encountered, and the impact on staff and training. He will cover University of Chicago’s policies and procedures for handling copy cataloging when found in the utilities, whether it be RDA o r not. Lastly, he will discuss University of Chicago’s recent reorganizat ion of technical services, its impact on copy cataloging operations specifically, and how it has informed the next phase of their RDA implementation and training.
