The American Library Association's Office for Human Resource Development and
Recruitment (HRDR) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigne
(UIUC) are offering courses later this month aimed at post-masters
professional development for public librarians. HRDR will be offering a
Management of Technology course and UIUC will be offering a course in
Organization and Personnel Administration. Information on both courses,
including how to register is included below. Both courses are approved for
the ALA-Allied Professional Association's Certified Public Library
Administrator (CPLA) Program, but are open to any who would like to
