Have you ever looked in RDA for a relationship designator and couldn't find one that met your needs?
The PCC Standing Committee on Standards (SCS) has prepared a proposal form for new (and revised) relationship designators on the PCC website Post RDA Implementation Guidelines and Standards page: http://www.loc.gov/aba/pcc/rda/PCC%20RDA%20guidelines/Post-RDA-Implementatio n-Guidelines.html. Right below the form is a link to a newly added table that gives the status of any proposed terms that are in the pipeline. SCS reviews the proposals and sends any that they approve to the ALA Representative to the JSC. The JSC then approves them or not in a separate process. SCS hopes that providing the status of the terms will be helpful to everyone. Bear in mind that these are proposed terms, not terms that have final approval status from the JSC. Only terms found in the RDA appendices are allowed to be used in RDA records. For the Standing Committee on Standards, Ryan J.
