Hi All,
I hope this email finds you well!
I wanted to let you know that I am running for a Board of Directors position
for CLA and was hoping to get your support in encouraging your colleagues to
consider voting for me. If I were to be elected for this position, my goal
would be to encourage collaboration across library types and to increase
opportunities for conversation between library types. At times, CLA feels
like it is lacking in Academic/Instruction voices. I hope to be that voice
for our community and to encourage others to become more active within the
organization.
There are 4 vacancies for Board of Directors this upcoming cycle. In
addition to a vote for me, I encourage you to vote for Dolly Moehrle, Morgan
Pershing and Vanessa Christman. We have been working together on crafting a
platform of collaboration and conversation and I highly recommend them! I
also endorse Helen McAlary for President-Elect and Jennifer Baker for
Secretary.
With that, please vote! You can see my Candidate Statement, as well as those
who I endorse, on the Election Ballot <http://www.cla-net.org/?page=924>.
Also, as an FYI unrelated to the election, I am the incoming Chair for the
Academic Interest Group! Please let me know if there is anything I can do
for you!
Thank you for your time,
Andrew
